Hello there! I am Maahum Muhammad Ali. Born in Pakistan, raised in Malawi and currently studying in London. At the age of 5, I moved to Blantyre, Malawi, after spending the most heartwarming 5 years with all my extended family in Karachi. The past 13 years growing up in Malawi have brought along the most memorable experiences.
When it comes to my interests, there is way too many to keep count. However, the things I am most passionate about are football, hockey, Marvel, books, cats and dancing. Oh, and did I mention football? Whilst living in Malawi, I played for my High School’s football and hockey under-19 team and had the role as the captain for 6 years. Those six years gave me many opportunities such as meeting and playing with Malawi’s National Girls Hockey team. As well as being able to take part and play in the CAF Tournaments.
Ronaldo is the GOAT.

Not to forget, my on-going obsession with music since I was born. Since I moved to London, there has never been a concert that I have missed of my favourite artists.
Other than my interest in sports and music, over the 19 years I have lived, my love for travelling increased. Living through my Dad’s adventures to various countries such as Singapore, Tanzania, Malaysia, Egypt, China and many more, made me grow up with the urge to visit all the countries I possibly can. So far, I have only been able to travel to 7 countries, however, the most beautiful and impactful has been Saudi Arabia.
My heart is full of my family and friends, and since I moved to London, I have met friends that I would choose in every life time.
During my A-Levels, I studied History, Economics and English Literature and I can tell you that it is not for the weak. On the other hand, it drove me towards the degree I am pursuing today with the pathway being PR and Advertising. I have always been one to create, edit and capture and these are some of the elements that attracted me towards this particular pathway. PR and Advertising allows me to dive into the theories whilst at the same time, invites creativity. This course has given me the chance to meet great, intellectual people from all over the globe. As well as challenging me with various concepts, I have never even thought off, however, that is something I enjoyed as having a social personality, always entices me to get out of my comfort zone. I look forward to explore the depths of public relations and advertising, as I aim to work in that sector after I complete my degree.
I am excited to get to know you all!
Wishing you the best of luck whilst studying at University of Westminster!
