Hi everyone, my name is Ruoxin Xiang. I’m from Shunde. Shunde is well known as a “food capital” in China. Growing up in a place with so much delicious food, I naturally developed a love for food. Right now, I’m studying at the University of Westminster in London, starting a brand new chapter of my life abroad.
In my daily life, I’m interested in both anime culture and K-pop. I’ve liked anime and games since I was a child. They are not just for fun — they have also influenced how I see the world and what I like.
My favorite character is Sakura Kinomoto from Cardcaptor Sakura. She is brave, positive, and kind. No matter what happens, she always stays strong and hopeful. I really admire that. I’ve also cosplayed her many times. I try to get the clothes and makeup as close to the original as possible. Through cosplay, I’ve met many people who love the same things as I do.
In real life, my biggest interest is K-pop, especially the girl group Twice. Their music has many different styles, and their stage performances are always full of energy. Every comeback brings something new and exciting.
I also respect them a lot for how hard they work behind the scenes. In the past two years, I’ve had the chance to see several of their concerts in person. Every time, I felt so inspired and full of energy afterward.
For me, being their fan is not just about liking idols — their music and presence also give me emotional support and strength in my own life.
Besides all of that, another hobby of mine is dancing. I post my dance videos on Bilibili, and to my surprise, many people have watched them and sent me kind messages. Their support and encouragement really gave me a lot of motivation to keep practicing and improving.
