Hi! My name is Adar. Ah-dar! not Ayedar, not Adear. I’m from London but ethnically from Somalia 🇸🇴. I lived here most of my life before I lived in Dubai when I was younger. I’m a 2nd-year digital media student; I picked this because I love digital art and designing. That’s why I’m moving towards the production pathway.

I love, love, LOVE my family and friends. I show them that I do as much as I can. My whole University experience has been amazing with them. I joined the dance society, and during my first year, I danced with the competition team, elevating my Uni experience as a whole. Travelling with them, dancing with them, performing with them and just going to events with them have been amazing. Friends I have made throughout my course, I love them to bits, and I wouldn’t have enjoyed Uni without them.
I love music, especially R&B, but I listen to many different types of artists. Love fashion! I love gaming (if I’m not at work, university, or doing uni work, I’ll be playing a new story game), and I edit as a hobby. I have an editing page on a social media platform that was doing well during quarantine! Not so much now. 💔 I have a page on Instagram, TikTok and even YouTube. I’ve met so many people through this platform, and life would be very different if I didn’t start editing; it got me into digital media in the first place. I edit the shows I like, mostly different animes. I had so much joy doing this in the beginning, and I’m glad that it’s taken me to a bigger field, and it’s not just for fun anymore.
