Hello,
My name is Samantha Munitz, and I am a 3rd year study abroad student from Los Angeles, California. I currently attend Arizona State University, where I am studying Communication with a minor in Film. Being in London, I feel, has unlocked a huge touristy side of me I didn’t know existed. I’ve had a lot of fun exploring the city and discovering Blank Street, which has fueled my current matcha obsession. I am a huge dog lover, and my family and I have been rescuing dogs for as long as I can remember. A significant culture shock for me is the difference in the UK curriculum here. I am not used to my only assignments of the semester being essays and blogs. However, after taking this class for a few weeks now, I am increasingly looking forward to learning about the various communication theories and their relevance to the media. If you have any recommendations for good food spots, please let me know. I’ve had a bit of trouble finding restaurants I like here. Very nice to meet you all!
