Hello, my name is Ricco. I am a second year student here at Westminster University. I am currently studying BA Digital Media. I am a Filipino and I was born and grew up in the Philippines. This is my sixth year living in London and it has been an interesting experience living here. I have worked part time in fast food chains before with a total experience of almost two years.
This is my first ever blog and it’s mainly for my academic project but also a personal learning experience. This is a place where I will document my thoughts and understanding of media theory, reflecting on different perspectives.
I chose to study this course because I did a Media course in college and I’ve developed some interests on website and media content designs. I also have a bit of experience on game design, using Unity, Blendr, Gimp, and Unreal Engine.
Outside the university, I like to play video games in my free time. I like game genres like Souls games, Horror and Survival games, RTS and RPG, sometimes multiplayer ones as well.
Through this blog, I hope to expand my knowledge of media, explore how it connects and affects our everyday lives.
Thank you for visiting!
