My name is Precious Wura Agoro and I’m a student studying Digital Media and Communications at University of Westminster.
You may be wondering why I’m named after an adjective but I’m simply Nigerian (lol) and in my ethnic culture, we take names and meanings quite seriously which is also why my middle name means gold. I can assure you, however, that I am the most chill and sociable person ever (I hope – it’s self proclaimed atm).
I come from a family of 3 and my wider family are predominantly male and way older than me, so growing up I leaned on my wild imagination and sense of creativity to entertain myself. Little did I know that this would unfold and create a plethora of opportunities for me.
I studied English Lit, Drama and Music in college and as you can guess I was always obsessed with the arts. This led me to many different extracurricular activities such as performing in bands/choirs/showcases, frequently visiting the theatre and a love for reading and writing. I also write music and poems in my spare time, though I’m not sure how I’ll incorporate that passion into my work and future career just yet.
Honourable mention – in my spare time I have also used up every penny I’ve worked for to travel and visit up to 22+ countries such as Thailand, Indonesia, Malaysia, Ghana etc. I wholeheartedly believe that my love for learning different cultures has widened my creativity and given me unique perspectives on sociality and life in general.

Me and some students when I volunteered in Thailand.
It was nice to digitally introduce myself to you and please feel free to say hi, I love to learn about others!
