Hello world!

Hi everyone! My name is Lada, and I’m a Digital Media student at the University of Westminster.
I was born and raised in the Siberian part of Russia, near Lake Baikal, the deepest lake in the world. It’s a place of incredible nature and rare creatures, but the conditions can be tough, and growing up there taught me to be resilient.

At 17, I moved to Saint Petersburg to study clothes design. I spent there three years and it was a culturally rich time. The city is full of interesting people and old beautiful buildings. I met everyone from artists to poets, and I loved living among them.

After that, because of Covid, I moved to Moscow, where I met my very best friends. I also gained experience working in the bar industry, which taught me a lot about people and working under pressure.

Alongside this, I have a long background in art. I spent seven years at art school, three years at architecture school and two years doing swimming.
I love the movie industry and do photography in my spare time, because I’m drawn to the way that camera can capture a life moments.

In the future, I would like to become a creative director, which is why I’m now studying digital media and production in London.
I’m excited to meet new people, share different perspectives and learn together this semester. Looking forward to a great term with everyone! 🙂
